• When parents register their child at Pyrford Preschool, they are asked to pay a £35 deposit to secure the place. This deposit is only refundable when the child accepts a place at the preschool. Before a child joins Pyrford Preschool, we need parents to have completed the necessary sections on the Family app (about child, health, permissions, contact details).
  • In line with current procedures, Funded Early Education (FEE/FEET) is available for children from the term after their third birthday or for eligible 2 year olds. Parents/carers will be given the relevant forms to complete at the beginning of the term when their child becomes entitled to this funding.
  • Fees are payable for children who are not in receipt of FEE/FEET at our setting. Fees are payable, termly in advance, upon receipt of an invoice, which are issued at the beginning of each term. Payment should be made within 14 days.
  • The session runs from 9.00am to 12.00pm Monday to Friday during term time with an additional Tuesday afternoon session from 12.00pm to 3.00pm. The session price is £23.00.
  • There is an optional lunch club from 12.00 – 1.00pm and an Early start from 8.30 – 9am. These are non-funded sessions.  Please ask for details and terms and conditions, as appropriate.
  • We accept electronic childcare vouchers. Please check with us, as soon as possible, that we are registered with the relevant childcare voucher company. If we are not registered, please provide us with the name of the company and we will be more than happy to register with them.  Electronic vouchers should reflect the invoice total.  If the childcare voucher total is less than the invoice total, the difference should be made up by cash/credit transfer, also within 14 days of invoice.
  • Fees remain payable in full for any absences during term time, including holidays and sickness.
  • We reserve the right to increase fees.
  • We reserve the right to retract the offer of sessions due to exceptional circumstances that are out of our control. For instance the breakdown of heating, an unexpected and sudden reduction in staffing levels, extreme weather conditions or being required to close by Surrey County Council. These sessions will not be refunded.
  • We require a minimum of 6 week’s notice should you no longer require your child’s place. Payment in lieu of notice will be due if it is necessary to move your child straight away or before the end of the 6 week notice period.
  • We require a minimum of 6 week’s notice should you wish to reduce the number of sessions that your child attends. Payment in lieu of notice will be due for the session(s) you wish to cancel, if it is necessary to make the session reduction immediately, or before the end of the 6 week notice period.
  • We hope that your child will stay with us for their preschool year, until they move up to Reception. Please let us know if your child is on the waiting list to join another setting.
  • As part of our safeguarding responsibilities, please can parents/carers notify us via the Family app if their child is going to be absent and provide a reason. We would also be grateful if parents and carers could let us know of any planned absence/holidays in advance, these can also be recorded on Famly app.
  • We join other early years providers in asking parents of children receiving funding (FEE/FEET) to pay a voluntary contribution towards additional items (cooking, craft supplies etc) for which the funding is not designed to cover. Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of funded, high quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, additional hours or additional services. In order to continue to provide a high quality service, we ask for a small donation of 0.75p per session. We request this termly contribution by invoice at the beginning of each term. Please be reassured that all children are offered exactly the same Early Education regardless of how fees or voluntary contributions are paid.
  • The preschool is required to process certain personal information in order to deliver its service. We abide by the General Data Processing Regulations of 2016 and we are registered with the ICO. Our Data Compliance Policy and Privacy Notice can be found on our website.
  • Our policies and procedures form part of these terms and conditions. They can be viewed on our website or a paper copy is available at preschool. It is important that parents and carers are aware of these policies.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
